Until recently, sex workers in London advertised their services by placing postcard sized adverts in phone booths. In 1994, it was estimated that British Telecom removed a million of these a year.
Unfortunately, the age of the internet and some killjoy legislation enacted in 2004 means that cards are now a rarity. Fortunately, I was able to collect large numbers of them, by surreptitiously visiting booths and removing the as many as I could get away with, while nobody was looking!
